My Story

It started in my kitchen

Alumi Candle was born from a quiet moment of creativity — a simple curiosity about candle-making that became my way to unwind. What began as kitchen experiments grew, pour by pour, into a full studio, a growing community, and a brand rooted in the art of slow living.

The name Alumi comes from the Portuguese word alumiar — to softly illuminate. Every scent I make is blended with intention, drawing from nostalgia, elegance and lived experience, and poured in coconut apricot wax with a wooden wick.

Alumi is more than a candle. It's a feeling. A ritual. A reminder to slow down and find light in the everyday. Thank you for being part of this glow. — Bianca

From My Studio

Little moments of glow

Trim the wick

Before each burn, trim to about ¼ inch. It keeps the flame clean, even, and free of smoke.

Let it melt to the edges

Give each burn time for the wax to melt fully across the top — that's how you get every hour out of your candle.

Three to four hours, max

Longer isn't better. Blow it out, let it rest, and your candle will thank you with a longer life.
